A loft conversion is usually cheaper than an extension and far cheaper than moving, and it is the most reliable way to add a bedroom, bathroom or study to a house that has run out of room. It also adds value that shows up on a survey.
The stair is the hardest part of any loft, not the roof. Where it lands, what it costs you on the floor below, and how it meets fire regulations decides the whole layout — so that is where we start rather than where we end up.
Our carpenters, plumbers, plasterers, electricians and bricklayers do the whole thing, which keeps the programme tight and means one person is accountable for the finish.
